Karl is a trained chef from the Culinary Institute of America in New York. After graduating in 1988, he made his mark in the specialized pastry world, baking for hotels and restaurants from coast to coast. Stephanie is an artist with an eye for the smallest details. Having worked in clay and similar mediums, she easily moved to working with icing - allowing her to satisfy her sweet tooth and express her artistic talent. The chief taste testers are Olivia and Parker, the Will's two children. The business has grown so much, primarily by word of mouth, that in the fall of 2010 a retail outlet and café was opened to be able to keep up with the demand for cakes and desserts. Now called Sweet Impressions Bakery and Café, cakes, pastries and desserts are created all day so that anyone can stop in to enjoy at any time, along with a delicious breakfast and lunch menu.
